A range of 4 different rim diameters and two cup sizes. The design aims to offer the cornet player a warm mellow sound whilst providing absolute clarity and security throughout the register.
The A Cup is designed for International Cornet Soloist Jim Hayes and features a shallower cup and a unique cup shape that facilitates easier high-register playing. The A Cup has excellent projection and brilliant sound characteristics, making it suitable for Soprano Cornet playing.
The B cup is a medium size depth allowing a projected mellow cornet sound, whilst giving great clarity and upper register support.
The C cup is a slightly deeper cup, providing a large mellow sound whilst retaining great clarity and flexibility.
